Agricultural Support Services Program

Cost Recovery System

The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to assist in financing the Agricultural Support Services Program (ASSP). The Ministry of Agriculture is executing this program, which activities are structured in three components:

The Ministry of Agriculture requires the services of an individual consultant to assist the Ministry of Agriculture in designing a cost recovery system for the agricultural support services, which should include a mechanism for revenue retention by the agricultural support service providers.

The Ministry of Agriculture now invites eligible individual consultants from then the IDB=s member countries to submit their expression of interest to the Program Director at the address below.

Individual consultants seeking to be shortlisted must show proof of their technical and educational capacities, and relevant experience for the provision of the services.

A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be selected in accordance with the following criteria:

Similar work done

Prior experience in Jamaica or in similar country

Availability

Three copies of the expression of interest, including a curriculum vitae, must be delivered to the address below by 30 August 2001.
