Agricultural Support Services Project
Plant Health Surveillance and Pest Response Systems
Loan No. 1283/OC-JA
The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to assist in financing the Agricultural Support Services Project (ASSP). The Ministry of Agriculture is executing this project.
The activities of the ASSP are structured in three components as follows:

Strengthening the delivery of agricultural support servicesC
Strengthening and consolidating agricultural and food safety servicesC
Financing selected activities in high payoff productive projectsThe objective of this consultancy is to establish a comprehensive plant health surveillance and pest response system for Jamaica, based on current global and domestic needs and local socio-economic realities.
The Ministry of Agriculture now invites eligible individual consultants from the IDB=s member countries to submit their expressions of interest to the address below.
Individual consultants seeking to be shortlisted must show proof of their technical and educational capabilities, and relevant experience for the provision of the services. A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be selected in accordance with the following criteria:
